INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installing Lukeke birds
When installing a bird, please consider the surface - drywall, concrete or wood etc. as each wall will require a different type of anchor.
Drywall / GIB

After installing your anchor, screw the bird into the wall. Be mindful to not over-tighten as this can damage the bird.
Masonry

After installing your anchor, screw the bird into the wall. Be mindful to not over-tighten as this can damage the bird.
Wood

Drill a pilot hole no larger than the diameter of the screw. Screw the bird into the wall. Be mindful to not over-tighten as this can damage the bird.

Installing Lukeke butterflies
Drill two 1mm holes into the wall to the width of how far apart you'd like the butterflies antennae and thread both the antennae as far as you can into the drill holes. If the antennae are too long for the depth of the wall, use wire cutters to trim the antenna evenly. Please see our installation video below.
